Sometimes students don’t know when they use Simple Present or Present Continuous. Here is a tip to help you:
Simple Present = used to express routine.
Eg. I walk/drive to school.
I take the subway/bus to work (everyday)
Present Continuous =Â something that is happening now.
Eg. I’m waiting for the bus to go to school (right now)
When we use both…
I usually walk to school, but today I am going by bus.
I never take the subway to work, but now I am taking it because I’m late.

Did you like it? I hope it helps!
